About me
I’m a Cybersecurity Analyst at StoneX, where I help protect the organization’s systems and data by investigating threats, responding to incidents, and improving overall security operations. I’ve been working in cybersecurity for several years, starting my journey with the State of Iowa before moving on to Combined Systems Technology and now StoneX. Through these experiences, I’ve gained a broad perspective across both public and private sectors, developing a strong foundation in threat response, risk management, and incident handling.Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to speak at Blue Team Con on Dyslexia in Cybersecurity and How to Overcomme it. It was an incredible experience sharing how neurodiversity can be an asset in our field, and I’m excited to bring that same message to ChiBrrCon.As someone who has personally navigated dyslexia, I’ve learned to turn it into a strength—leveraging creativity, pattern recognition, and big-picture thinking to approach challenges from unique angles.Outside of cybersecurity, I’m deeply involved in my church community, serving on the production team and mentoring others. Whether in faith or in tech, I’m driven by a desire to help people grow in confidence and recognize the unique strengths they bring to the table.
