Josh has a unique distinction of having been on the “Miracle on the Hudson” Flight 1549 piloted by Captain "Sully" Sullenberger, opening the emergency exit door and helping his fellow passengers to safety. He's been highlighted on CNN, The LA Times, The New York Times, NY Post, The Guardian UK, has appeared on The Dr. Phil show, The Oprah Winfrey show, and dozens of podcasts and keynotes in the years since. Josh is happy to share some of the events before, during and after the Miracle on the Hudson and has an engaging way of relating these experiences and lessons to what CISOs and Cybersecurity professionals contend with during critical incident responses.

MBTI Meets Cybersecurity: AI Can Not Solve the Human Problem
LIMITED
Friday October 9, 2026 4:15pm - 5:00pm PDT
Limited Capacity seats available
We are all different based on the environment that we grew up in, the time we grew up (generational influence), and our individual psychological preferences. One tool that has been time-tested, and debated, is the Myers-Briggs Personality Typing tool (MBTI). For years the cybersecurity community has wondered what the implications of a person’s MBTI is on how they behave with respect to cybersecurity. At last, in 2023 Myers-Briggs themselves published a report on the linkages between different MBTI types (16) and the impact on cybersecurity!
This session will explore, in a fun, interactive participation manner, the differences in how we may behave with respect to cybersecurity. Let’s face it – if we are designing systems, processes, and training for our end users, but we don’t really understand how they will use the information – we may not achieve the intended impact and thus our strategy will be at risk.
