Burbsec is a welcoming infosec community event where people come together to geek out, make friends, and grow their professional networks in a relaxed, social setting with no fees, no presentations, and no pushy sponsors! Whether you’re new to infosec or highly experienced, into memes, beer, tech, or just curious conversation, you’ll fit right in among a diverse group that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and genuine connections. Our meetups occur at many locations all over Chicagoland, usually on Thursdays, as well as Las Vegas, Minneapolis, and even Galway, Ireland! Attendees regularly help each other solve problems, exchange ideas, and build relationships that extend beyond the meetup itself.
